Old iron folding chairs from India.
The chairs were originally used for big events and gatherings like marriages, village festivals, and even open-air cinemas. Sometimes even 3000-4000 people could turn up on this kind of event.
Due to their sturdiness they would last and last but they don’t recommended for heavy use.
The folding chairs have nice patina but of course there are some traces of use. They are often painted over several times and then the layers of paint would fade and reveal another color. They have kept as original as possible.
They are perfect for a vintage or retro inspired dining room, retro kitchen, garden and bar / restaurant use.
