Scindapsus pictus, the satin pothos or silver vine, is a species of flowering plant in the arum family Araceae, native to Bangladesh, Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and the Philippines.
Growing to 3 m tall in open ground, it is an evergreen climber. On juvenile plants the leaves are oval and entire; on mature plants the leaves are pinnately lobed. They are matte green and covered in silver blotches. The insignificant flowers are rarely seen in cultivation. ‘Exotica’ is a slow-growing evergreen twiner to 1m or more, with dark green ovate leaves to 10cm in length, spotted with silver on upper surface.
Satin pothos or Silver philodendron, is just as easy to grow as its relative, golden pothos (Epipremnum aureum). Keep it warm and take care not to overwater this house plant. Cold drafts and soggy soil are two things it won’t tolerate. You’ll see the best leaf color and variegation by keeping it in bright, indirect light. You’ll also keep the plant healthy by boosting the humidity around it.
Scindapsus pictus Argyraeus is a beautiful hanging basket plant.

Please note that the photo is indicative, each plant has different shape and size. This plant comes in a plastic hanging pot.
