Produced since 1878, Féret parfumeur’s Bloc Hyalin is renowned for its purifying properties: a natural, invisible deodorant that inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria, it also acts as an astringent, ideal for use before or after shaving.
Bloc Hyalin, unlike other stones has always benefited from a long and complex process of purification. Inside the distinctive petite boite jaune (little yellow box) is a matchbox-sized slab of potassium alum, a naturally occurring form of aluminum salt harvested from mineral deposits in Panama, melted down to remove impurities, and reconstituted in the form of a block that will provide several years of soothing and freshening power.
When used on the skin, it leaves an invisible film of mineral salts which prevent the formation of the bacteria responsible for unpleasant odours.
As a deodorant it’s totally odorless, and leaves your clothes unmarked.
You can also use it before shaving: its astringent properties prepare the hair and make shaving easier. After shaving, it soothes razor rash, tones the skin and leaves a real sensation of freshness. In the case of a small cut, it prevents bleeding. Its anti-bacterial properties prevent the appearance of spots.
A 100gr bloc will last for several years and has no expiry date.
