David and Kavi (a.k.a D.S. & Durga) were pioneers in DIY Brooklyn. They turned all that they loved in music, nature, myth and design into fancy fragrances in their tiny Bushwick apartment. Liner notes, playlists, images, graphics, and films expand upon the world inside the glass. Each of their fumes is a bold and rich narrative. They started from scratch and they still made all in-house.<\/p>\n
A fire broke out in the Curling Bros. barbershop in Westlake, N.Y. in 1891. All the shaving tonics with their spearmint, lime, vanilla\u00a0and lavender burned. A charred bottle was found half-full. It smelled like this.<\/p>\n
