My father used to collect driftwood from river banks and beaches whenever we went on a daytrip. Observing those water-beaten branches, twisted into fantastical shapes, sits at the heart of this series, owing straight from by subconscious. My “driftings” are the ravages of time, ood-beaten and sometimes brittle, but always carved with memories. Some appear static, trapped in a moment, while others are about to burst into life, itching to bridge the gap between my past and my present.
