Studio Arhoj creates charming and one of a kind design objects that explore the visual relationship between Scandinavian simplicity and traditional Japanese culture. Located in Copenhagen, they are interested in keeping alive the knowledge about old crafts such as wheel throwing and glaze construction, and their focus is on form as opposed to function. They are famed for their thick colourful glazes and the completely unique playful characters.
Carefully crafted in Portugal by a factory that’s been making cedar wood pencils for over 100 years. This lead free graphite pencil was produced using a stamping method made popular in the early 20th century, on a hand operated machine from that era, giving each pencil a retro quality and a unique slightly offset look.
