The Kayuragi range of incense is produced in Japan by Nippon Kodo. The name Kayuragi comes from the words Ka – meaning fragrance and Yuragi – meaning slowly wafting scented smoke. When the incense is lit, it’s smoke and aroma wafts throughout the space and brings a feeling of relief and relaxation.
Sandalwood comes from a sacred tree from India. Its deep perfume has the virtue of relaxing the body and calming down the mind. It induces spirituality and introspection; it also helps internal development. The incense sticks are made without a bamboo core, so you’ll have a clean burning experience when you light these sticks.
Inspired by Kimono -the Japanese traditional wear- fabric, the package texture is smooth and the coloring is dramatic. The traditionally fragranced incense comes in contemporary designed packaging. The paulownia wood box contains 40 sticks of incense, plus a small ceramic incense holder, so it makes an ideal gift to give.
