Seiun Gold Aloeswood is a Japanese incense with a woody and spicy aroma.
The incense was developed by Nippon Kodo to represent some of the fragrances typically associated with the Japanese Edo period, from 1603 CE to 1868 CE.
The primary fragrance ingredient in this incense is aloeswood, which is also sometimes known as jinkoh or kyara. Aloeswood is a fragrance that has a strong association with the East and is widely used in Japanese incense products.
The Seiun Gold Aloeswood incense gets its spicy notes from cinnamon, clove and vanilla. Burning this woody and spicy incense is an up-lifting experience, that echoes the East and Orient.
Thanks to the way the Seiun incense is made, this incense is clean burning and produces very little smoke.
The incense sticks come nicely packaged in an attractive box with a meaningful and symbolic design. This large box is ideal if you burn incense regularly.
