Studio Arhoj creates charming and one of a kind design objects that explore the visual relationship between Scandinavian simplicity and traditional Japanese culture. Located in Copenhagen, they are interested in keeping alive the knowledge about old crafts such as wheel throwing and glaze construction, and their focus is on form as opposed to function. They are famed for their thick colourful glazes and the completely unique playful characters.
The Smoke flower is hand cast in earthenware and sprayed with multi coloured glazes. No two are 100% alike. The Flower holds both incense logs and sticks, making it not only beautiful but multifunctional.
Inspired by trippy 60’s graphic design, retro ceramic pieces and Alice in Wonderland, the Smoke flower is sure to bring a bit of odd elegance to any space it inhabits. It also comes boxed, making it perfect for gifting.
