Inspired of famous industrial designs by Wim Rietveld, Jean Prouvé and Friso Kramer these sculptural chairs are made for optimal comfort and heavy duty.
Designed by Elmar Flototto and manufactured by Pagholz and Galvanitas, the red-ish brown seat and back consist of one piece called pagwood: It is formed by fusing plywood with resin, which gives the beauty of a natural product but with improved durability and stain resistance. The V-shaped frames are made of folded sheet metal, ending in rubber feet. Very solid and a revolutionary design from the 1970’s the chairs are marked with the characteristic Thur op Seat logo. They have a nice patina from several years of usage which gives them a nice industrial look.
