Seiun Chrysanthemum Incense – a complex warm and spicy blended fragrance.
The incense was developed by Nippon Kodo to represent some of the fragrances typically associated with the Japanese Edo period, from 1603 CE to 1868 CE.
This traditional fragrance has been produced for centuries and has a complex variety of fragrance notes in it. Whilst the top note is undoubtedly smooth and velvety Chrysanthemum, the incense also has notes of warming bergamot, floral geranium, woody oak and green moss. The result is a distinctively exotic floral fragrance that conjures up images of the East.
Thanks to the way the Seiun incense is made, this incense is clean burning and produces very little smoke.
The incense sticks come nicely packaged in an attractive box with a meaningful and symbolic design. This large box is ideal if you burn incense regularly.
Note: the number of sticks is approximate and may vary depending on the batch.
